Ankara style

Hello Fashionistas,

So it's been a while. Yes! I do apologise, but I am extremely busy it's mad.

Anyway, I hope the week is going well for you so far.
Here's an outfit, which I wore on Sunday. I did get a little tired of wearing jeans and pants so I wanted to try something different.

The good thing about Ankara prints is that they can be made into anything you want. Any styke that suits you.

It's really practical in terms of styling and comes in different colours and patterns to suit you. So,mine was made into a jacket with buttons at the front and a wrapper, which I tied into a side knot to add a little bit of layers to the wrapper.

I wanted to try this gorgeous african Ankara that was sent to me from Africa and it's been sitting in my wardrobe for a long time. I loveeee the colour and changed my hair just for this look.

I spiced the look up with a bright red lipstick and orange-y- nude wedge heels from River Island; once again, no jewellery were added on purpose because I wanted the Ankara itself to be the statement piece.

I love you for reading.
